When you go out to buy a new car, most of us have to get what is in our budget - something like a Honda or a Toyota. These are great cars - reliable, practical, respectable, and good value. But no one goes out and buys a Honda because they love it. They do it because it is within their budget. No one would prefer a Scion, Suzuki, or Nissan over a nicer car if money wasn't an issue. ABInbev is is basically the beer industry's Kia. High production output, great for people who want experience for next to nothing, catering towards people in college (and recent graduates), and most importantly, nothing to write home about. And a huge marketshare. About 45% of the company's sales occur in North America. Sadly, for how many people "enjoy" these beers, we don't have much to say about them. But think about this: Apple, Inc. (AAPL) doesn't sell iPhones or iPads because they are the best products, they sell their electronics because they market them well... very well. AB Inbev is good at that sort of thing as well. Now if only their product was half as good as their Super Bowl commercials... then we'd have something to talk about here.

Yes, this was actually the first beer we have ever tried. Bud Light is the world's best-selling beer, and it's hard to see how it sells... at all.
